WHO DOES THIS PLAN WORK BEST FOR?


Healthi Fresh is for our HealthiCare participants only as it helps to maximize the benefits of GLP-1 agonists and it's important to adjust your diet by reducing sugar and fat while increasing protein and fiber. GLP-1 agonists, used for managing Type 2 diabetes and weight loss, curb appetite and improve blood sugar control, but adopting healthy lifestyle changes ensures the best results. 



The Healthi Fresh plan helps to:


● Boost your protein intake to stay fuller for longer and feel satisfied on a lower-calorie      

   diet.


● Add more fiber to diet to further stabilize blood sugar, support digestion, and enhance 

   fullness.


● Limit sugar intake to avoid addictive cycles and blood sugar spikes. 




HOW DOES THE PLAN WORK?


Each day you have a range of BITES to use. You have DAILY BITES calculated from your individual profile taking into account your age, gender, height, weight, and activity levels. You also have access to a bank of WEEKLY BITES and can earn extra ACTIVITY BITES should you need them. 


To help you make better meal choices - lean protein and healthy, non-starchy produce and lower-sugar fruit choices have lower BITES scores and sugary, higher-carb produce and higher-sugar fruits or fast foods have higher ones. Think of it as a “throttle”. You can still have those items, but they will just cost you more, giving you a chance to stop and consider if it is something you really want.

                   

This plan's calculations focus on:

  • Calories
  • Saturated Fat
  • Sugar
  • Protein


With HEALTHI FRESH, you have a high number of DAILY & WEEKLY BITES in comparison to other Healthi weight loss programs because there are no zero BITE foods. The minimum range is 39 DAILY + 23 WEEKLY. Both daily and weekly BITES decrease as you lose weight. ACTIVITY BITES are encouraged to be earned for fun, but not used on a regular basis in addition to WEEKLY BITES.




HOW DO I GET THE BEST RESULTS ON THIS PLAN?



Nothing is off limits with this plan. You can still have your favorite foods but learning to choose them in moderation, make healthy ingredient swaps where you can and limit the amount of refined and processed sugars in your foods will greatly increase your chances of success.

                   

When thinking about your meals, a good rule of thumb is to have 1⁄2 meal come from healthy, non-starchy vegetables as a salad or side, 1⁄4 meal in the form of whole grains, starchy vegetables or complex carbohydrates and 1⁄4 meal, a lean protein source. HEALTHI FRESH makes choosing those proteins easier by offering them at lower BITES.

                   

In general, focus on reducing the amount of soda, starchier vegetables, higher-sugar fruits, fruit juices, and sweet treats you consume daily. They can still factor into your day at higher BITES or you can make the switch to a lower-sugar or sugar-free versions. On Healthi Fresh, it is recommended to use 50-100% of your weekly BITES each week. Weeklies are designed to be used to make sure you are meeting your minimum daily calorie requirement. As a PRO member, you can turn on Secondary Metric tracking to see your daily calorie and/or macros intake.
